Wednesday, April 9, 2025

• Individual Arrivals to Tallinn, transfer to the hotel
• Check in to Nordic Hotel Forum A modern 4*  superior business and conference hotel is located at the very heart of the capital of Estonia, at the prominent location on the edge of Tallinn’s Old Town.  The eighth floor of the hotel features a leisure Centre with an indoor pool, jacuzzi, Finnish and steam saunas. Fully equipped gym is open for our hotel guests even 24h a day.
• Welcome lunch and Estonia for Business Events  Presentation
• Theatrical Walking Tour to get to know the world-famous Tallinn Old Town Tallinn is famed for its impressive Old Town, one of the best-preserved medieval town centers in Europe. This centuries-old district of merchant houses, Gothic churches, winding lanes and other historical attractions is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The tour also includes one-of-a-kind Marzipan Painting Workshop and site visit to Nunne Boutique Hotel
• Medieval style networking dinner with Estonian meetings industry suppliers at Olde Hansa Restaurant. Restaurant Olde Hansa offers a medieval experience in the heart of the Old Town of Tallinn. It is the home of a rich merchant, whose guests enjoy delicious, authentic Hansa-era meals and drinks, authentic period music, and friendly service. All of the dishes on the menu, including the many wild game delicacies, are cooked using 15th-century recipes and methods.

• Fun Group Activities to learn about Estonia
  Group 1: Living History at the Estonian Open Air Museum
  Located just outside central Tallinn, the Estonian Open Air Museum is a collection of nearly 80 historical buildings dating from the late 1600s to the early 1900s, all relocated here from various regions of the country and arranged in village/farm fashion. Among these architectural gems are thatched-roofed farmhouses, wind and water mills, a 17th-century church, a fire station, an inn and a schoolhouse. Join us for a unique journey into the past taking us through the museums’s picturesque landscapes. We’ll hear about various fun workshops are available for groups and as part of the experience each visitor will have the chance to mix their own traditional Estonian kama, a beloved local delicacy.
  Group 2: Introduction to e-Estonia
  Estonia is celebrated as the world’s most advanced digital society, offering innovative solutions such as i-voting, e-Residency, and digital signatures, among others. Increasingly, groups are visiting Estonia to explore digital leadership, cutting-edge e-solutions, and its vibrant startup ecosystem. We will visit the e-Estonia Briefing Centre, that provides an in-depth overview of Estonia’s public e-solutions and introduces the tailor made programmes that are available for groups and events. Also, we have a chance to ride the self-driving bus developed by Estonian startup AuveTech and test our problem-solving and experimentation skills with a fun teambuilding activity at the Rakett69 Science Studios that aims to inspire both children and adults to discover the world of science and technology.

• Free Time
• Go Creative at Telliskivi Creative City. Telliskivi Creative City is situated in a former industrial complex in Tallinn, now home to galleries, small shops, various creative companies, start-ups, and restaurants. This historic factory area has been transformed into a vibrant shopping and dining hotspot, making it a popular destination for culturally oriented residents of Tallinn as well as visitors and travelers.
  • Make your own leather bracelet with Stella Soomlais Design Studio designers. Stella Soomlais is a leather designer from the younger Estonian generation. She makes leather bags and accessories with a minimalist aesthetic. Discover the art of crafting your very own one-of-a-kind leather bracelet in this workshop!
  • We will also visit the largest unique venue in Telliskivi area – Club of Different Rooms as well as hear the secrets of craft gin making together with tasting at the award-winning Juniperium Gin Distillery.
• Visit to Fotografiska Tallinn and zero waste networking dinner with Estonian meetings industry suppliers at Fotografiska Restaurant & Rootop Garden

• Visit to Tallinn Creative Hub Conference Center. This industrial-looking historic building used to be a boiler house for a power plant and its 700-square-metre boiler room still contains two giant boilers, which played an important role in the history of Tallinn Power Plant. Parts of the complex – the boiler house, the gas storage, the trestle, and the brick chimney – are under protection as cultural heritage. Today, Tallinn Creative Hub operates as a multifunctional event centre, where different concerts, exhibitions, conferences, and workshops take place.

• Visit to Estonian Maritime Museum Seaplane Harbour The Seaplane Harbour  is home to Tallinn’s unique seaplane hangars, as well as the historic Lembit submarine, numerous boats, yachts, and naval artillery. In 2012, the facility opened as the most exciting maritime museum in Northern Europe. The indoor venue is available for rent for conference gala dinners, receptions and other events.
• Visit to Radisson Collection Hotel Tallinn The new hotel offers an exceptional, five-star experience to its guests including 289 guest rooms, 1000 m2 meetings space 2 restaurants and a spa area.

Optional Post Tour 11.-12. April 2025

Lahemaa National Park: Jeep Safari, Bog Walking, Vihula Manor

• 13.00-14.00 Transfer from Tallinn to Kõrvemaa Nature Centre by bus
• 14.00-15.50 Hands on Off-Road Driving Safari Vintage Jeeps.  A fun way to spend time on a safari testing off road driving skills in varied landscapes. The vehicles are classic UAZ jeeps in their full glory, with maps and GPS for navigation.

• 16.30-18.20 Refreshments and Bog Shoe Walk at Viru Bog. Bring your sense of adventure and be ready to hike through the Viru bog. Visiting Estonia’s fascinating peat bogs is an absolute once-in-a-lifetime experience. These protected areas can be toured via wooden plank trails or by wearing specially developed bog-shoes to traverse the mushy, wet ground while also protecting the bog’s delicate ecosystem.
• 18.20-19.00 Transfer to Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa

• 19.00 Arrival in Vihula. Welcome and check in at Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa.Vihula Manor is a charming 16th century estate with two main manor house buildings, 27 other historical buildings and 50 hectares of beautiful parkland set alongside the Mustoja River in the Lahemaa National Park. Please note that the registration is not a guaranteed participation. Unfortunately, the spots are limited, therefore, it might be the case we are not able to welcome you. We will contact you by email to confirm your participation latest by February 13th. Priority will be given to those with a specific event or business group in mind for Estonia.

Terms and Conditions

• This fam trip is fully hosted by Visit Estonia / Enterprise Estonia,  including flight tickets, overnight accommodation, meals, transfers and the ground programme.
• Travel to and from the departure airport, travel insurance and extras are not included (mini bar, telephone calls, etc.)
• It is the participant’s own responsibility to arrange travel insurance that sufficiently covers the whole period of the fam trip.
• This registration is not a guaranteed participation. Unfortunately, the spots are limited, therefore, it might be the case we are not able to welcome you. We will contact you by email to confirm your participation.
• Due to the limited number of places, only one representative of each company can participate in the fam trip. For the same reason, accompanying persons cannot be accepted.
• We reserve the right to change or modify the programme
• Whilst every care will be taken to ensure your safety, Estonian Convention Bureau and Visit Estonia as well as the other organisers involved in this trip are not responsible for any accident, injury, loss of personal property or food allergy reactions during the trip.
• We will share your organisation and contact details with our partners so they can reach out to you after the FAMtrip. Please let us know  before the FAMtrip if you have any objections.
• If you have to cancel the trip and the flight ticket is already issued, you will be charged the cost of the flight ticket
• In case of cancellation within 24 hours prior to the FAMtrip and in case of a no show, we are forced to charge 700 eur  to cover all costs already made.
