Bocuse d’Or Europe Contest in Tallinn Postponed to September 2020
The International and Continental Organizations Committees of Bocuse d’Or have announced postponements to this year’s global chef championships. Bocuse d’Or Europe in Tallinn, Estonia has been postponed until 3-4 September 2020.
The announcement was made in response to the coronavirus situation as it reaches a critical stage forcing most of the countries into closures and heavy restrictions plans, some of them closing their boundaries.
The renowned gastronomic contest, named after French chef Paul Bocuse, offers talented cooks exposure on the international gastronomy scene. Bocuse d´Or culminates in the grand finale in Lyon, France, every two years. Continental preliminaries are held in carefully selected locations and Estonia has been awarded the privilege to host the European selection final in June 2020.
