Renovation revealed: Tallink City Hotel reopens in June 2021
Tallink City Hotel is reopening to cater to modern travellers’ demands in the post-pandemic climate.
Hotel in the process of completely renovating one of their flagship hotels at Tallink Hotels – Tallink City Hotel, which was first opened in 2004 and will be reopened to our guests just in time for the 2021 spring/summer season. Following its reopening, hotel is confident that the 4-star hotel, situated in the most exclusive location in downtown Tallinn, will be even better adapted to the preferences and needs of our guests than before.
The interior design of the hotel as a whole is based on seemingly contradictory keywords – the heart of the city and closeness to nature, technical development and naturalness, speed and the calm flow of time. The shades used in the interior are inspired by nature, while the house is characterised by an exciting combination of graphically impressive metal furniture, glass and light. Based on that, the result should be pleasantly personal and contribute to rest and relaxation, while adapting well to the hustle and bustle of the city centre.
Upon completion, located on the ten floors of the hotel, there are available 324 rooms of various categories, such as the classic twin rooms, spacious rooms for families, elegant de lux-rooms and impressive suites. All hotel rooms will be furbished in the contemporary modern style and the interior design will take its inspiration from such key words that may seem to contradict one another, at first glance: heart of the city centre and close to the green outdoors, high tech and natural, fast and take your time to enjoy.
The hotel restaurant will undergo a thorough change and reopens to visitors with completely new concept. The new restaurant will be spacious and roomy, seating 228 and has conveniently flexible possibilities to cater and organise various and special events.
For organising events, meetings and conferences, the events’ floor, located on the 10th floor will be also renovated fully and the key words there will be new and inspiring solutions. Also, other public areas and additional service areas will undergo a thorough overhaul. In compared to the previous concept, the new one should be particularly well suited to meet the needs and expectations of holiday makers.
The interior design of the Tallink City Hotel is created by Meelis Press. The renovation works are carried out by AS Merko. The planned opening of the hotel is in June 2021.
